Our doctors, nurses and allied health practitioners maintain their professional development by ongoing training and graduate studies in areas of special interest. All our practitioners maintain the required Continuing Professional Development Points by attending educational seminars and accessing online educational facilities.
Doctors of Lalor is involved in education and training of medical students from the University of Melbourne and Monash University. Students attending the practice for GP training are mentored in a broad range of general practice competencies, including patient consultations, minor procedures, vaccinations, early childhood and adult health checks as well as preparation of care plans for patients with chronic diseases. Mentoring students has been a mutually fulfilling and enjoyable experience for doctors, staff and students.
